Fair Trade silk scarves
NEW! Finally something for the ladies...We've decided to print our most popular designs onto some amazing hand-woven, Fair-Trade* silk scarves! As alwas, we hand-screen them all in our Detroit studio.
This is a soft, extremely lightweight and delicate scarf, measuring about 13.5" x 69" + knotted fringe. Note: minor imperfections are part of the charm and character of handcrafted silk.
*Fair Trade creates relationships between producers, traders and consumers in a manner that ensures that goods producers work in safe conditions, are paid fair wages, and are mindful of the environment. Fair Trade sourced products contribute to sustainable development by offering better conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers especially in exports from developing countries to developed countries.
We welcome custom orders - if you would like any pattern normally printed on the ties on these scarves, please just ask!
